The CIRP Research Affiliate Workshop 2015 is to be held at the AMRC on July 6-7, 2015.

CIRP (College International pour la Recherche en Productique / The International Academy for Production Engineering) is the world leading organisation in production engineering research and is at the forefront of design, optimisation, control and management of processes, machines and systems.
The objective of the Research Affiliates program is to create, develop, and promote a sustainable, CIRP-related, network of outstanding young researchers in the field of production engineering.
The main goals of this workshop are to present technical works to encourage collaborations among the Research Affiliates and to develop a collaborative workshop.

The workshop will be held at the AMRC Knowledge Transfer Centre (KTC).
The KTC is located alongside the AMRC Factory of the Future and Nuclear AMRC on the Advanced Manufacturing Park, South Yorkshire. The building offers highly flexible meeting space, equipped with the latest presentation and networking technology.

There are several airports close to Sheffield such as Manchester, Leeds Bradford, and East Midlands.
