EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in machining, assembly, and digital engineering for manufacturing

The MADE4Manufacturing CDT is a collaboration between the AMRC, the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sheffield and industrial partners, tackling the four key productivity challenges in manufacturing: sustainability, speed, quality, and flexibility. Its focus is on integrating digital tools into important manufacturing methods that are critical for the UK, such as subtractive manufacturing and product assembly, and teaching students how to become leaders in understanding the impact of carbon emissions and climate change.

Recruitment is open for EngD and PhD students to start in September 2025.
