As part of the Global Manufacturing Festival, the University of Sheffield AMRC and the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) present a showcase for advanced machining.

The free seminar features global leaders in machining technology presenting the challenges for industry and the technologies to address them. Speakers include the AMRC with Boeing's Adrian Allen and Pete Osborne, plus representatives from machine tool providers such as Starrag, DMG Mori, Hermle and Mazak.

The one-day event will also include live demonstrations of the latest tooling, toolholders, cutting strategies, dynamics prediction methods and toolwear measurement.
