Farnborough International Airshow

22 July 2024 - 26 July 2024

Farnborough International Airshow 2024 will host leading innovators from the aerospace and aviation industries and beyond.

Aiming to pioneer change, build new connections, engage with thought leaders and get access to unparalleled business development opportunities, the show will take place Monday, July 22 - Friday, July 26.

We'll be at various stands and panels throughout the week, as well as visiting the wider event. Come and say hello:

ATI - Destination Zero: The Technology Journey to 2050

Hall 3, Stand 3501

As part of the HVMC, we'll be joining ATI at their technology showcase, taking visitors on a journey into the future of aerospace. Along with other High Value Manufacturing Catapult centres and AMRC partners, we'll be showcasing an uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) concept – a complex design and manufacturing challenge - that will form the basis for a demonstration of a digital thread, providing a shareable test bed to demonstrate the full range of AMRC capabilities.

Composites at Speed and Scale (COMPASS)

Hall 3, Stand 3501, ATI stand theatre, Monday, July 22, 12.00pm - 12.30pm

Stephen Beecher and Kay Cunningham will speak about their experience of developing large-scale applications to establish a unique, open access R&D facility in the UK. Funded by the Aerospace Technology Institute, the talk will cover development of the applications for the Compass facility, lessons learned, the capabilities of the new facility and how your company can make use of it.

Manufacturing: Uncompromising Quality panel

Dassault Systèmes, 3DS Chalet - C208, Wednesday, July 24, 10.50am -11.50am.

AMRC senior sector engagement manager for aerospace, Stephen Beecher will be moderating this panel, where experts will discuss the Industrial Value Network overall and how the digital, planning and the data driven intelligent execution for manufacturing and supply chain needs to be looked as a whole to achieve better flexibility, resilience and first time quality delivery.

Beyond the classroom: An apprenticeship path to success in aerospace

Hall 3, Stand 3501, ATI stand theatre, Friday, July 26, 1.30pm - 2.00pm

With the opportunity for questions and discussion, AMRC technical lead, Beth Cousins, will share her 10-year journey in engineering, a field that uses knowledge to tackle real-world challenges, demonstrating that dedication and skill can overcome any obstacle.
