Bloodhound SSC education roadshow

The AMRC with Boeing is proud to host the Bloodhound Supersonic Car project's education roadshow.

BLOODHOUND SSC will be bringing the full-size show car, virtual driving experience, and scale rocket to the AMRC for a half-day of activities and presentations.

Ruth Amos - Young Engineer for Britain 2006 - will address school students about the Bloodhound SSC project, emphasising the importance of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) education.

The AMRC's MANTRA lorry will also be open to give visiting students a hands-on taste of high value manufacturing and engineering.

Sessions run from 9.30am to 12.00pm and 1.00pm to 2.30pm. Places are free (limited to 90 per session) and are focused on Key Stage 2 and 3.
