5G Factory of the Future: The Future is now...

The 5G Factory of the Future (5G-FoF) programme has established a 5G manufacturing testbed in the UK, developing integrated solutions to some of the key challenges to deploying 5G technologies in manufacturing.
Funded by the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) the project explored the suitability of 5G as a connectivity solution to address the connectivity challenges of generation manufacturing shop floor. Exciting demonstrators on real-time closed loop control of machines, robots and AI assisted systems will be available to see. Results on 5G jamming and cyber security implementations will also be discussed.
You are invited to AMRC North West to see and interact with shop floor demonstrations, meet engineers, and understand how the consortium successfully overcame challenges in deploying 5G in a manufacturing environment.
