The University of Sheffield Bio-engineering students are very keen to build links with organisations in the bioengineering, medical technologies and biomechanics field and we would therefore like to invite a representative from your organisation to a showcase event which is taking place at the University of Sheffield on Wednesday 22 February 1.30-6.30pm.

The event will provide organisations with:

• An insight into the  courses and world-leading research in the application of engineering to healthcare technologies
• A tour of the inspirational Diamond Engineering facilities including the Bioengineering laboratories
• An opportunity to hear about initiatives such as INSIGNEO, IGEM, Enactus and other research groups
• A chance to explore ways to develop collaborative working relationships with the University, its students and the Bioengineering Department
• An opportunity to promote your organisation, your products and developments and any vacancies you have for bioengineering students and graduates
• A forum for networking with students and staff
• An opportunity to help students gain an insight into the medical technologies industry, hear about the experiences and career progression of people working in the industry

We would be delighted if you could attend.  We really see this as an opportunity for your organisation to develop some strong links with the department and the high calibre students that are hoping to move into the medical technologies industry.
