3D Printing: e-learning and Practical Demo Workshop

24 October 2017 - 24 October 2017

The 3DPrism (3D Printing Skills for Manufacturing) project has been set up to improve 3D printing skills, training and resources for the manufacturing sector.

As part of the project, e-training modules, that meet the needs of the sector, are currently being developed covering the wide range of additive manufacturing processes, materials, software and hardware variants currently used in industry. These modules will be incorporated into a massive open online course framework (MOOC).

At this workshop you will be able to:
- Evaluate and influence the content of this new e-learning resource.
- Have a go at the training modules, which have been designed specifically for 3D printer operators & technicians, and see how well you do in the online quiz at the end of each section.
- Gain first-hand, practical experience of operating the AMRC’s state-of-the-art 3D printing software and hardware.
